I have a whole new thought process on employee engagement. Training 2013 has given me great ideas to take back to my organization.

ReplyDeleteBob Pike's session on memory and learning was very interesting. Ray Kurzeil's keynote was mind-blowing. I was pleasantly surprised by Matt Harding's keynote.
ReplyDeleteThe idea that participants should be engaged in some type of activity about every 10 minutes! I never considered having activities spaced in this way.
ReplyDeleteTraining 2013 was a great experience. It is my first year here and I'm looking forward to, hopefully, coming back to attend the future events. I've met some great people throughout my time here and I've learned MANY concepts and ideas that will certainly change the way I deliver training.
ReplyDeleteWhen attending the "Never Give A Boring Technical Presentation Again" workshop, one thing I learned is that people lose focus about every 7-10 minutes. To keep them engaged, you must constantly manage their state.
